I watched this film yesterday for the 6th time and incidentally, someone requested for these songs today :)
So I was more than happy to add these songs to my blog. Lakshya, a very inspiring movie. Everytime I watch it, I feel like joining the army.
The film was released in 2004, starring Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. And, it was directed by Farhan Akhtar.

The music has been composed by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The title track is very inspiring and my favourite. :)

Rann is Ram Gopal Varma's next venture, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav in the lead roles.. It's releasing on 29 January 2010.It makes me wonder while writing the names of the music composers, OMG atleast 7 of them.. Dharmaraj Bhatt, Bapi - Tutul, Jayesh Gandhi, Amar Mohile, Imran - Vikram, Sanjeev Kohli, and Sandeep Patil. I cant check the songs, but hope you like them.

Aladin is an upcoming movie directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Jacqueline Fernandez, Juhi Chawla and Sameera Reddy in pivotal roles. Aladin is a contemporary take on the classic fairy tale and boasts of a visual scale never seen before on Indian screen. Aladin will be released on October 16, 2009.

Aladin songs are composed by Vishal-Shekhar (composer of the magnificent Om Shanti Om songs.). The songs are pretty below average, btw give a time pass listen..

Mohabbatein , which was released in 2000 is directed by Aditya Chopra. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan in pivotal roles, along with six young debutantes. Aishwarya Rai appeared in flashbacks as Khan's lover. This is Aditya Chopra's second directorial venture after Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Shahrukh Khan agreed to do the film without even looking at the script.
The music is composed by Jatin Lalit and lyrics is penned by Anand Bakshi. One interesting thing, i got to know that half-way into completing the song "Aankhein Khuli", Jugal Hansraj fractured his ankle. This occurred when he had to leap over the dancers and carry Kim Sharma away from the bench. I hope you like the songs.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (K3G) is a film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji. It is director Karan Johar's second movie (after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai). Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham released in 2001 was the highest grossing Indian film overseas till 2006, when its record was broken by Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (again from the same director, Oops! Karan targets foreign audience!.).
The music of the film was done by Jatin Lalit, Sandesh Shandilya. Lyrics were provided by Sameer and Anil Pandey. I hope you like the songs! I love them.

The music is given by the famous trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and the soothing lyrics is from Javed Akhtar. I love the title track and 'Mitwa', and the music is very charming. I love the album. I hope you like it.

Kabhi Kabhie was released in 1976, and was produced and directed by Yash Chopra, starring Shashi Kapoor,Waheeda Rehman, Amitabh Bachchan,Neetu Singh, Raakhee Gulzar and Rishi Kapoor. This was Yash Chopra's second directorial film with Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor in the lead roles after Deewar.
The movie was a great commercial success with excellent performances and evergreen music by Khayyam. "Main Har Ek Pal Ka Shair" is Phenomenal and who doesn't know "Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein".

Silsila is a 1981 Bollywood film directed by Yash Chopra. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Jaya Bhaduri, Sanjeev Kumar and Rekha. The film is said to be based on Amitabh Bachchan's personal life as in late 70's and early 80's, the romance between Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha was the most talked about news from Hindi film industry.

The songs are awesome and are composed by Shiv Kumar Sharma and Hari Prasad Chaurasia. And Amitabh Bachchan himself has sung a few songs which are quite famous.

Abhimaan is a 1973 film starring Amitabh Bachchan, his real-life wife, Jaya Bachchan, Asrani and Bindu. It was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. I have not seen this film but have heard from people that it's worth watching. The film is perhaps best remembered for its songs as the plot was based on singing. The songs are composed by the legendary S. D. Burman, with by Majrooh Sultanpuri. All are good, with 'Tere mere milan ke' as my favourite. Check 'em out!

Muqaddar Ka Sikandar was directed by Prakash Mehra and was released in 1978. Its featuring Amitabh Bachchan as Sikandar, Vinod Khanna as Vishal Anand, Nirupa Roy as Fatima and Rekha as Zohrabai.


The songs are the best of the decade, and the music is given by Anandji Veerji Shah & Kalyanji Veerji Shah. All the songs are touching and they also are from the best singers from the century.
